Solar installs across Wellington and the Kāpiti Coast

Every system on this page was designed and installed by our own EWRB registered team, on homes, sheds and businesses between Ōtaki and the Wellington south coast. Most are rooftop arrays on metal roofs, a lot of them with battery storage so the household can carry its own power into the evening and keep running through an outage.

No two are the same, because each one is sized from the owner’s power bills rather than picked off a package list. Coastal exposure, wind loading, shading and roof structure all change what we specify, which is why the same 10kW array can look very different from one street to the next.

Four are written up in full, from a 10kW commercial array on Fergusson Drive to a 16kW three-phase system in Whitemans Valley: what went in, and why. To see how your own roof compares, run the solar roof check or ask us for a free quote.
